What this means for you
A 400%+ increase in NK cell activity is exceptional. NK cells are your immune system's surveillance team -- they detect and destroy virus-infected cells, bacteria, and abnormal cells without needing prior exposure. Limitations
The study measured immune cell activity in vitro (in the lab) from blood samples, which may not perfectly predict in-vivo immune outcomes. The dramatic percentage increase partly reflects the low baseline NK activity in some participants. Clinical outcomes (fewer infections, faster recovery) were not directly measured.
